“Manhattan in Motion”— Mindrelic
For all of those ‘New York I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down’ moments, I’m glad that there’s something like this to remind me why I love New York. I live in the greatest city in the world—and I definitely tend to take that for granted.
This is really beautiful. Thanks Mindrelic—for reminding me how lucky I am to live in this city.

Take me here. Please, if you love me, you will take me here. As a New Yorker, sometimes you have to be reminded that beautiful things like this exist outside of the island. New Yorkers also forget to look up. The sky is a beautiful thing. We may get some stars (on a good night) - but nothing as powerful and magnificent as this. It’s so beautiful. It almost makes me cry - knowing that sights like this exist and I may never get the chance to see them.
I really hope I get to visit one day. And just lay there looking up at the sky. As a kid I would always look up - at the stars, at the moon, at the airplanes - I haven’t done that in a while. I guess New York really has jaded me in some ways.
Do yourself a favor and look up every once in a while. It can truly take your breath away.
