Iam so sad about Ben Breedlove. I watched the video he left for the world to see, and him seeing me in detail, in his vision really warmed my heart. I broke down, Iam to tears because I hate how life is so unfair. This has really touched my heart in a way I cant describe, this is why I do what I do. Why I write my life, and why I love you all so much. Life is really fucked up sometimes, but I know Ben is at Peace, and I hope he gets a chance to sit and talk with my Dad. We love you Ben. Forever. Thank you for loving me. To Ben’s family, you raised a real hero, he’s definately mine. You have my love.

When I first read about this story, I was sad. I was angry. I was upset. But after seeing the way Kid Cudi has responded to his young fans death, I have to believe that somewhere, Ben Breedlove is so happy, so full of joy, that I can’t be mad, angry or upset anymore.

This is beautiful.

Space Lion - The Seatbelts

Cowboy Bebop is a soundtrack unlike any other, excelling with it’s eclectic nature and becoming a full blown experience on it’s own. The rhythms enrapture me across exotic soundscapes in a journey through an array of music from sultry jazz to grungy blues to old-school southern rock n’ roll. Space Lion, especially, is an unique experience for me. It’s tender saxophone and worldly chorus channel through me and it cleanses my soul. This is one of my cheer-me-up songs, every time I’m feeling down I play this and within a couple of minutes everything that was rotting inside and all the depressing thoughts I’ve accumulated just wither away into nothingness. I get lost in it’s moving sounds and come out a new man.

“Everything has a beginning and an end. Life is just a cycle of starts and stops. There are ends we don’t desire, but they’re inevitable, we have to face them. It’s what being human is all about.” -Cowboy Bebop

Far Far by Yael Naim

Far far, there’s this little girl
She was praying for something to happen to her
Everyday she writes words and more words
Just to speak out the thoughts that keep floating inside
And she’s strong when the dreams come cos’ they
Take her, cover her, they are all over
The reality looks far now, but don’t go

How can you stay outside?
There’s a beautiful mess inside
How can you stay outside?
There’s a beautiful mess inside
Oh oh oh oh

Life’s too short babe, time is flyin… I’m lookin for baggage that goes with mine…

Postcards from Italy - Beirut

Desperately seeking some sort of spiritual fulfillment. But sometimes, not even music can help me find it.

Feeling down today for no reason.

I turn the music up, I got my records on

I shut the world outside until the lights come on

Maybe the streets alight, maybe the trees are gone

I feel my heart start beating to my favourite song.

Brilliant new track from Coldplay! So excited for their new album—looks like it might be a bit peppier than previous their records—which is perfect for summer.

Sometimes I wake up by the door
That heart you caught must be waiting for you
Even now when we’re already over
I can’t help myself from looking for you

Set Fire to the Rain, Adele

This is definitely my go-to song right now. It’s incredible how powerful music can be.

#18.4: Heartbeats (The Knife Cover) by Ellie Goulding

I don’t think it’s possible to love a cover any more than I do this one. Ellie Goulding is genius. And this song is perfection (originally by The Knife).

There Is a Light That Never Goes Out - The Smiths

Run into my arms. Embrace me. Hold me tight. Tell me that I’m your everything, your light and soul.  Be a part of my life forever, a sweet lover of mine. Be the fury in my bed, the ghost in the back of my head. I want to feel your warmth. I want to finally feel what it’s like to have my breath taken away, to feel like I’m the most important person in someone’s life. I long for you, whoever you might be.

“To die by your side is such a heavenly way to die.”

Beautiful. My favorite song. Just beautiful. I absolutely love these lyrics.
